The following catagorizations are from a matrix developed at the Kennedy Center for organizing fine arts curriculum. By providing activities in each category, a balanced music program covering the National Standards can be achieved.

Music Making Resources

Context: Materials for teaching historical, cultural, aspects of music and integration of music in Music Making

• Winter Concert material. These concerts try to navigate the minefields of political correctness and while teaching traditional holiday music. All concerts include rounds which can be sung as the class comes onstage:
