Bling Blang

First they drilled all through the day
Then the big trucks came our way
A big old hose poured a concrete pad
And that made us really glad.

Next up went the steel frame
It got up with a big old crane
Then the welders used a a torch and stuff
To make that frame all big and tough.

Then the roof was lifted by another crane
That will keep out all the rain
Next, you’ll see, the walls will come.
Then it will look almost done.

Next year when we go to Bel-Aire —
It does not seem very fair—
We’ll miss out on the brand new school,
But watching it be built was really cool.
