Lennon/McCartney
Help, I need somebody, (hands out, draw to self) Help, not just anybody, (hands out, Help, you know I need someone, help. (hands out, draw to self, out again))
When I was younger, so much younger than today, (pat low down as on kids heads) I never needed anybody's help in any way. (wag head and finger, hands out to beat)) But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured, (thumbs over shoulder to past, shrug) Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors. (hands together then apart, open arm)
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down, ( hands to chest, hands down) And I do appreciate you being round. (make circle with pointer) Help me, get my feet back on the ground, point down) Won't you please, please help me? (hands to chest, then open finger to self)
And now my life has changed in oh so many ways, (hands out apart) My independence seems to vanish in the haze. (stand tall, then figers snap out) But every now and then I feel so insecure, (each hand out in turn, then pull arms in) I know that I just need you like I've never done before. (hands out then wave finger)
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down And I do appreciate you being round. Help me, get my feet back on the ground, Won't you please, please help me.
When I was younger, so much younger than today, I never needed anybody's help in any way. But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured, Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down And I do appreciate you being round. Help me, get my feet back on the ground, Won't you please, please help me, help me, help me, oh.
