Dear Students and Parents:
Our next BIG musical event will take place on Wednesday, May 26 at 9 am: Our Annual Spring Sing, will be special event for me. As you may now have heard, this will be my last major school wide musical event, as I will be retiring from teaching at the end of this school year. I have had a great run here at Reed, and will miss working with the kids, but I am excitied to be opening a new chapter in my life. The "Spring Sing" will take place on the Reed Elementary playground outside and includes activities with both PE and music. Half the classes will work with our fabulous PE teacher, Barbara Baird, and half will work with me in music to present games and dances from around the world. The Spring Sing will take place at 9 am on Wednesday, May 26. HERE IS A LINK that will tell you which teacher your child will perform AND, if they will work with me in music, what song they will sing AND soon there will be a link to a page with the words and an accompaniment to the song that you can use to help your child learn the song for the concert!
